My daughter has a 1997 cirrus 2.5l and the check engine light is on. I coded it and the code P0455 comes out. It says EVAP emissions control system leak ( Large) When I looked up the code it was the same but it also had EVAP system gross leak. I would like to know if anyone can give me information on what it could be that is causing this? Also when she turns the steering wheel there is a very pronounced rough feeling. I checked the power steering fluid level and it was okay. I suspect the power steering pump may be bad. I f I could get any information on this It would be greatly appreciated.

not sure about the EVAP problem, but the steering problem could be anything from a bad wheel alignment to ***** joints, tie rod ends, or even the steering rack, if the ball joints have grease nipples on them try that.
