Default Error codes

Hello all, new here & have a few ???
I just purchased a OBD2 code reader to find out why my check engine light was coming on.
I found 2 codes,
P0172 System too Rich (Bank 1)
P0404 EGR Flow CKT Range/Performance

It's a 2000 Intrepid 2.7 with just about 200k on her.

Should I change out the EGR Valve?
Will this also solve the too rich issue?

Thanks

The EGR problem may be a bad EGR valve, or it may be a bad EGR sensor or wiring.

The running rich problem could be many things:

O2 sensor
Evap purge solenoid
Throttle Position sensor
Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor
Engine Coolant Temperature sensor
Fuel pressure regulator
Engine computer
PCV valve
Exhaust system obstruction
others

Get the EGR problem solved, clear the codes and see if they come back. If so, start looking at the other things.

The error codes are disappearing from the environment as a programmer object-oriented programming language to replace them with modern exceptions. Exceptions have the advantage that they have been handled with explicit code blocks, separated from the rest of the code. Separation of code error handling logic normal makes programs easier to write and understand as a block of code error handling error can service any number of function calls.
