01 chrysler town and country

Default 01 chrysler town and country
My transmisson went out today but two weeks prior I kept getting these codes

p0700
p0740
could this have something to do with it?

rebuild the transmission or get a new one u let the converter go to long and it tore up the trans the check engine light has been on for a while correct?
