I think my 04 pacifica tranny is done. When it is put into Drive or reverse it doesn't move but when it is in park it makes a grinding noise. Any help on this would be great. It was making a popping noise when I made sharp corners about a week ago and now this. Let me know. Thanks

 

sounds like the PTU Power Transfer Unit seen a few go out.

 

Whats that? Like where is it on the vehicle?

 

basicly a transfer case attached to the tranny
