Default 05 Pacifica issues

Like to hey! New to the chrysler world. I have a 05 pacifica with a 3.8l. I am having a issue with the power lift gate. It will not work from the remote. Also about a week ago the lights will not flash when you lock or unlock from the remote. Can anyone point me in a direction. I have looked at the fuses none where blew. I have also used the search button to no avail.

There is no clear answer I can give you from here. There are switches in the latch, motor assembly and there is also a module involved. You need to get it looked at by someone.

Thanks for the reply. I am capable of troubleshooting it if I had a schematic. If anyone has one that the could send me I would appreciate it.

Well, the thing that's going to hinder you is the ability to look at a scan tool and see what the inputs are reading. Wiring diagram is only half of the equation. You're typical code reader is not going to get you into any other system but engine. Somtimes it can be as simple as a switch signal from the latch, sometimes it's a module. It just depends.

I have an 06, if you check the manual which if you don't have you can download for free. Starting on page 176 it tells you about programming or reprogramming those features. As I had taken mine into the dealer and no reason known to me they changed features on me. Good luck
