06 PT Cruiser Key Stuck
After replacing shifter and cable, the key is now stuck i the ignition.
Everything seems to work fine, other than the ignition won't go into lock and release the key.
The person who did the job took the steering column apart and said that the problem is a switch
inside and the whole column needs replaced. Its a floor shifter, when I put it in park and
press the **** I do hear a clicking in the steering column.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Is there an easier way to get the key out or an easy
way to keep the battery from dying while still using the car without disconnecting and reconnecting each time?
