I have a 1997 Chrysler sebring that I just bought. I (stupidly) didn't try the radio before buying it and when I went to try it, I discovered that it doesn't work. The head unit turns on and the power antenna goes up but no sound comes out of the speakers no matter how loud I put it. I tried all AM and FM stations and tapes but still no sound comes through. I am thinking is a loose connection . If possible please provide details on how to fix it so I don't have to pay $$$ for the Chrysler dealer to do it.

 

Another problem I am having is with the instrument cluster. I know that there is a problem with the 1997 Convertible instrument cluster but my specific problem seems quite abnormal.
The RPM and the odometer display won't work when I start up the car but after about 15 minutes of driving, they start to work and they don't shut off untill I shut the car off again.
I have changed the battery with the best one I can buy with no changes

HELP!!!
