2000 Sebring 2.5 P0300

Default 2000 Sebring 2.5 P0300

I am currently trying to diagnose a 2000 sebring with a p0300 code. Looked at misfire monitor, at idle no cylinders are misfiring, as I increase throttle there are many random misfires. Whoever looked at it before changed o2 sensor, plugs, wires, distributor, crank and cam sensors (with aftermarket sensors.) One strange thing I noticed is that spark advance spikes to 128 degrees BTDC randomly, this is only a quick spike then goes back to around 20 degrees. From what I've read crank and cam sensors are supposed to be replaced with OEM only on these vehicles. Still haven't had a chance to check fuel pressure yet. EGR seems to be working properly. Anymore info on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Coil rather than distributor...

Can we clarify which motor size, I have a 98 mitsubishi 2.5 avenger and it uses a distributor. and they go to year 2000. Do you have the 2.4 possibly?
