Default 2007 Chrysler Aspen

2007 Chrysler Aspen 4.7 147k miles with trouble code PO443. What is the most common trouble to cause this code? What should I check and where is it located in this engine? Thanks in advance for any and all help. Would it cause more damage if I drive it 1-2 days?

Thank you so much for your reply. I failed to say that the fault code said at the end "C fault", in case it makes a difference. Also the battery light has been coming on intermittently. Would this be associated with this problem? Would you have engine diagram to locate these parts on engine and procedure to do the Checking? The battery and alternator have been checked by Autozone and found to be ok. Grateful for the help, thank you.

I have erased code PO443 and have driven car about 50-60 miles and code has not come on. Hopefully it will not. However, still have battery light coming on. Alternator and battery have checked out ok. How would I check for faulty battery light?

Well the problems are back, PO 443 and battery light coming on. Had battery checked again and found to be bad. Now new battery but battery light still comes on. Will try checking procedure on purge valve. Could these be one problem? Thanks

The evap purge valve and alternator were replaced. Vehicle runs good now without any MILs. Vehicle now seems to stop cooling when vehicle is at stop. Please help.

Hi beast39—we’re not trained technicians, so unfortunately I can’t provide you with any technical advice at this point. I would recommend trying the FCA dealer in your area for service, or asking them for advice if you prefer DIY.
