I am working on my cousins 2008 Jeep 3.8L. he was driving it and all the sudden it stop running. He tried to get it started again and it barely runs now and when it does, it only runs on like 3 cylinders, sometimes less. I put my scanner to it and it was reading a p0344: cam position sensor A bank 1 ckt. He has already replaced the cam sensor, crank sensor, throttle body, alternator, and battery. Was reading that is could be the starter and I am not sure how that is linked to the cam sensor but is there something I should check there? Also, anything else you can think of? I did check for spark and I am getting it, seems like the cylinders are getting fuel too.
