After having to repair the brake system and the heating hose within the last month I’m pretty annoyed that something else is failing. Trying to avoid these expensive repair shop costs now and hoping to fix this issue by myself.

So here is the problem that occurred right öfter I rolled off the repair shop... The liftgate will not open. The lift gate motor sounds like it’s working when I push any of the buttons for the lift gate. It just pops open but it won’t lift. It’s impossible to open by hand too. First I thought something might be stuck, but everything seems to be clear. So any recommendations how I can fix this? Is it the chain or more likely the lift handles?
