I got most of the way done with the repair to replace the alternator and it went like clockwork. Now I just can’t figure out how to twist and lift the alternator out of the engine compartment. Has anyone done this repair before, is there a trick to it? Or do I have to take some things out like the radiator bracket? It gets so close to coming out and just doesn’t clear by about an eighth of an inch. Any insights?
