have a 1995 Neon (SO)

I have had an oil leak for a while and was told I needed a new HEadgasket at christmas, but that it was okay to keep driving it.

I got stuck in Bridge traffic last week and when I got to my destination and got out of the car (left it iddling for a minute) and my husband got into the drivers seat the car was running very very rough and wouldn't go anywhere. I am not sure what the code was at that time as I was playing soccer but it took him over an hour to get it to run. He said when the throttled the shaking stoppped.

Was fine for two days, the EC 25 came on. I changed the air filter, went offf when I hit 2500 RPMs. Decided to check plugs and wires.

I had to use pliers to get my wires off, they were damn stuck. One snapped off on the end.

PLugs three vof ery white (too hot?) one of those has red ring on the white part of the plug.

#1 was white with deposits and covered in oil??? Very Scary.

No water in oil though.

Where would this oil come from the head gasket or spark plug seal?

 

both are good ones. when we change the head gaskets at work they always change the spark plugs seals as well . And i would not wait to long for the head gasket if you wait to long it could get alot owrse.
