96 T&C trans problem - need help
I need help. I just had my transmission rebuilt after 2 weeks and a paycheck later, I got the car back, drove it andAfter about 30 miles in stop & go traffic, the car had difficulty shifting from 1-2 and lost power, finally it caught and shifted. On next acceleration from stop, the trans shuddered, lost power and dies. Then the car won't start. After 30 mins, it starts again, goes ok for a mile and dupes the problem. I take it to the trans shop and they say it is the cam shaft sensor code, but cannot duplicate the problem. I'm wondering - is the problem related? They replaced the cam shaft sensor and say it is fixed. Any advice? THanks!
it might be the crank sensor, they had to remove that to repair trans.they might have installed it incorrectly.back the when a cam or crank sensor went bad and set a code we replaced both .because the earier pcms could not tell which sensor went bad.todays pcms are more up tp adate.if the sensor is still bad or they replaced the wrong one you'll still have problems/moe

you need to ask these people your transmissionquestions. i have known these people from the 60s, they are the best, and very honest. 90% of all trans shops get there parts from them.
