Default SAFETY ISSUE - PLEASE HELP

Details:

2001 Chrysler Sebring convertible (less than 40,000 miles)
First event - airbag light went on and won't shut off
Second event - interiorlights dim and flicker
Third event- FM radio won't work - won't play and won't shut off unless battery is disconnected
Fourth event - horn does not work
Fifth event - CD player operates but volume resets to zero
Sixth event - Clock resets to 12:00 when radio/CD player is in operation

All fuses are good. What on earth can I do to get the car running correctly again?

Other than the points raised above and the struts, this car is great.

Thank you all for your input.

once i had a 84 plymouth gran fury, the horn stoped. i looked in the serv. manual it said to be sure the steering col. was grounded. i put a ground wire on the col. and then the horn worked.yours may need other things grounded to like the engine to frame, dash ect.

This sounds a lot like a bad "clockspring". The clockspring is a part that attaches between the steering wheel and the steering column to allow the steering wheel to rotate while maintaining the electrical connections to the steering wheel-- that would include your horn, radio controls, airbag and cruise control if the switches are on the steering wheel. All of your strange electrical symptoms probably result from short circuits in the broken clockspring. The part costs $50-$70 and takes about 30 minutes or less to replace.

This repair may be covered by a special warranty even if your vehicle warranty has expired-- I know it is on the minivans.
