Charger "clunk"

Charger "clunk"
Wondering ir anyone can help with this question..
I have a 69 Charger that has a definate "clunk" somewhere under the car the first time the brakes are applied when travelling in either forward or reverse. Subsequent brake applications when moving in the same direction do not bring this clunk on. But stick her in reverse and apply the brakes after moving and that same noise can be heard.
Sounds like its under the front end on the drivers side.
We have replaced tie rod ends, bushes, idler arm and ball joints when rebuilding the car so I'd like to think it's not related to any of these.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
Paul
