Default Cooling System Flush

What is the best way to drain, flush and fresh fill the cooling system on a 2002 Concorde 2.7? Looks like the radiator hoses have to be pulled to drain and pour fresh antifreeze back into the radiator. Anyone done this service?

Default RE: Cooling System Flush

Unless your reservoir is mounted very low, you should be able to pour slowly enough to refill through that. There is likely a bleed valve somewhere high on the motor to let air out of the cooling system. It won't be on the block or valve covers itself, but on one of the upper cooling system parts. Open it to bleed air out and allow new coolant in. If necessary, you can remove the upper hose to refill. There should be a petcock somewhere on the bottom to drain the radiator.
