Default DOOR LOCKS 05 T&C

Hello, still having trouble with my 2005T&Cdoor locks. They quit working, horn sounds, lights blink but no power door locks. They do not work with the remotes or door switch inside. Has beento the dealer three times. They have flashed the bcm, reset the bcm, updated the bcm. They will work for a day then quit. Do I need a new bcm? Should Itake it to another dealer? These guys act like there scared to try and figure it out. Please help. Thanks.

hey truck,i would have someone pull the door panel on the drivers door and see if the master switch has loose connection.you might have had some work on the door before like window regulator and the door lock connector might be hanging loose.worth a try.possible water got down there as well.let me know moe

Hello, Moe & Chrysler Tech, thank you both for your help. I pulled the door panel off andeverything looks good from factory. Iam having the wife take note of everything she does up to the piont when they quit. This may sound crazy butcould this be a ground problem ? Sounds like the bcm is loosing its memorey.I talked with another dealer and there telling me thatthey will just have to start from the beginning and go from there at $80.00 a hour. Chrysler Tech I wishI was closer so I could pay you to slove the problem. Were is the bcm?Iwill check the pin connections and see if it may have a loose or faulty connection. My wife loves the van and it looks brand new, but looks can be deceiving, runs greats and has no other problems. Thank you both for all your help. God Bless.

Ihave an idea! it might be the bcm as as tech said but let's try something first.(reset the bcm).disconnect the battery for about 5 mins.then reconnect.this should power down the body control module, might reset it .then we'll know for sure.see if every thing works after battery is reconnected.seen it work before.let me know moe!

Hello all, everything is working great! BCM seemed to fix the problem, it all so cleared up a couple of small issues that I did not mention. The headlights would sometimes stay on when they were cutoff(withthe delay off) and the backdoor elect.latchwas acting up somtimes. Hope this helps others. Thanks again to CHRYSLER TECH &MOE for there help. God Bless!!!!!
