Electric supercharger

Default Electric supercharger

I have gotten an e-mail response from North End Tuning regarding a supercharger for my chrysler. They want to sell me a custom kit for it. Have you heared anything about this company? http://www.electricchargers.com

all that is is cold air intake a super charger is driven by a belt

At lower RPMs it MIGHT give you better response, but when you get higher in the RPMs it will start to restrict air flow and choke your engine. Fluid dynamics. Imagine blowing into a Kazoo with a "fan" in it. The harder you blow, the more resistance is met. So lets say it is a low speed fan that is battery opperated. When you're just exhaling it seems easy, and you can blow easier to a certain extent. But when the fan doesn't want to spin faster than the motor you have to work harder to blow the air out.

and then once again if u want anything that will push more air into your car u will need a new computer program or computer it self.
The speed density system is caculated for only a certan amount of air into the throtle body. Any more and the computer will adj the fuel to lean out the air mixture to get it back to 14.7 to 1
