engine swap
hello everyone
just finished swapping out engine in wife's 01 300M new
engine will crank and start but will not rev up at all .it turns over for a very long time before it final starts and you have to keep foot on the gas or it dies it stutters and stalls when you mash the gas down . any help on what would be causing this

Did the 2000 engine run prior to removal from donor car?
Check engine light / MIL on?
Codes? "Key Dance" will cause odometer to display codes.
(Key on/off/on/off/on)
I would suspect cam or crank sensor issues may be your issue.
Crank sensor (pass side in trans housing) may have been damaged during engine swap if it was not removed. Flex plate teeth could have hit it.
Cam sensor (center front under plenum) also suspect as they tend to fail also.
Maybe swap sensors from engine removed and give it a try.

Need help
Installed a 2000 year engine into wife's 2001 300m .old engine was running but knocking
I have changed cam sensor ,crank sensor ,whole intake plenum. no check engine light and showing no codes. also changed flywheel off the old engine. engine cranks fine but will only start and run if you spray starter fluid in it. have spark at plugs and 60# of fuel pressure. any suggestions on what cause might be .( engine is a 3.5)

best i remember they were the same
not sure though that is why i swapped all the sensors and intake over
got it to start once but it only stuttered for a minute then died had to hold gas to the floor for it tom start then
i'm thinking something with the fuel because it will stay running as long as you spray starter fluid or gas in the breather but i don't know that is why i'm asking for help
