Default Help!!

I have a Chrysler 300 Touring, 162000, highway miles. The rocker arm and the cam shaft are damaged. The throttle control icon came on, and it started making a loud knocking noise, Took the plentim off and found the rocker arm on the one side was damaged and the camshaft. I am trying to deciede to either replace the camshaft and rocker arms, or replace the whole engine. The car is not in bad shape. We rolled the engine over and the engine sounded good along with the heads. Anyone out there have any advice!!!! Some tell me to replace the engine, and others say I can just replace camshaft and rocker arms. I know there is labor involved but have some one to do the labor very reasonable. I was quoted $2000 for a 39000 motor, and $800 FOR LABOR, where to do the rocker arm and the camshaft was way less expensive. Any thoughts??????
