Default hazard relay location

Dear All,

I have had a battery drain and have since located it to the hazard/ drivers door open alarm. This was acheived by removing the 20amp fuse located in the control centre by the battery.

I would like to trace the Hazard relay in order to check its condition/ operation. Can any one advise me where to find it on my 03 voyager 2.5crd please. I have had the trim off above the foot pedals but have not come across anything like it.

While i am rabbiting on, May I thank Leedsman for his piece regarding putting a resistor in the charging circut to boost charging.
I have done this recently, it works a treat thanks!!!

Not sure about your van, but I suspect it's a similar arrangement to my Sebring where it's attached to the multifunction switch. The same flasher controls the turn signals.
But before you tear into that, the "door ajar" alarm is controlled by the same switches that turn on the interior lights when you open a door. Make sure your interior lights are turned off as they'll run down the battery in no time.
