Default If not the resistor, what is it?

My heat would only work on the low setting. I replaced the resistor and still nothing. Any suggestions, I have a 2003 chrysler voyager basic model no power anything. If someone replies, please use kindergarten terms as I am not too familiar with things like "ground wires" and stuff like that. I am a woman yes, but I fix my own cars if can. Please help! It's freezing here in Ohio today and it takes forever to heat up my van. Thanks

if no reistor pack is plugged in or if they are all bad the fan should run wide open full speed. even without a reistor pack I still think it will run full speed blower motor. so your reason for replacing the resito pack maybe wasn't the bestthing to do

Maybe you blew a fuse when replacing the resisotr pack ( it's possible anyway, ?
,look in your owners manual about fuses for blower fan .

It could be a bad switch the one on the dash that goes from off to low/med high. next check connections at themotor switch and resistor pack. Even aslimmer chance it could be in the wiring wiring or possibly even a badblower motor.

Good luck maybe you might have a friend help a little

Okay, so in the summer my a/c was leaking into the passenger side of the van. Could that have anything to do with it? And where exactly is the blower motor? Sorry, the reason I am on here is because my manual is crap! It really doesn't tell me anything. Thanks for your help!

Unless it was repaired and something was messed up

I assume the collant system it full and 50/water & proper antifreeze. But that doesn’t have anything to do with the fan not Turing and blowing air

Gotta get the fan to turn with power 1st.
What did you do thus far?
Be specific and include fuse sizes locations and or voltage test,

Do you think you may have one you need help with, like someone that knows how to read a volt meter and knows where to plug it in, and look for a blown fuse?

Does the blower motor work at higher speeds?

When using A/C is it cold in all settings?

I would also check coolant level a low coolant level can cause the heater not to work to well. Air is really bad at transferring heat.

Is the blower motor making any kind of wierd noises?
