I just bought a 2008 Sebring and the Touch screen on the MyGig radio does not work. It lights up perfectly and all the lettering is perfect. Everything else works from the CD and radio as long as you use the manual buttons on the unit or steering wheel.
There is still stored music that I can access with the manual buttons. My touch screen looks perfect without a scratch or blemish. I tried the SEEKUP/SEEKDOWN/NAV reset. It goes to the right screen but with the touch screen not working it was useless. I tried holding the Phone/Voice buttons per instructions for a soft reset. That didn't work. I tried a hardset by disconnecting the Negative battery cable for 5 minutes. That didn't work.
Is there anything else that I can try before I have to take the unit out and send it out for over $300 per a quote I received?
