tranny locking up in reverse
1993 new yorker 5th avenue tranny locks up in reverse an releases with a bang, works fine in forward gears. is it worth fixing? car is nice shape wife drives it. 165,000 miles on it.

Get a couple of quotes from some reputable transmission shops and then you can decide for yourself.
