Question 98 breeze cruise control problems

hi everyone im a new member and i have an issue that i hope someone can help me with. i have a 1998 ply breeze with a 2.0L auto and the problem is the cc when turned on and set will work for 5 to 10 sec then go off even the cc light on the dash goes off, then the ignition has to be turned off before the cc system can even be turned back on. fuses are good the vacuum reservoir is good no leaks, the vacuum module is good all the solenoids work and no cracks in the diaphragm and the switches on the steering wheel test good anyone have any ideas ?????

Check your brake light switch on the brake pedal. Activation of that switch disengages the cruise control by design, so if it's tripped, the cruise kicks out. Make sure you're not hitting the brake pedal with your foot. Some people drive using two feet, one on the brake and one on the gas. Needless to say, they have cruise control problems. That's one of he reasons not to do that.

If the switch is not adjusted properly, it could be activating on its own. Check it.
