Hi everyone,

So I'm planning on buying a 300M. I was able to test one, it was really impressive, powerful, shifts smoothly...
I checked the transaxle fluid and it wasn't read AT ALL! It was translucid almost like water. No traces of red dye...

ATF+4 is pretty rare in France. And I heard some mecanics here even use Mercedes ATF+4 replacement, but I don't know if it's red or not.

So my questions are, have you ever heard of a white translucid trans fluid?
Will I need to do a full flush and replace with ATF+4

Btw the seller didn't change the fluid, the previous owner did and the car has been driven like this for more than 6'000 miles...
