Drive train vibrations

Drive train vibrations
Dear Chrysler Enthusiasts,
I have a 1989 Chrysler LeBaron Convertible, which has 250k miles and which is partly restored.
The car runs great, However, dive train vibrations from the engine (replaced, low mileage < 30k miles) are quite strong when the engine is idling in drive. They are less noticeable when driving.
My mechanics tell me that there is no fix - the old cars transmit engine vibrations.
Do you have a suggestion how to address this issue?
Thanks,
Stefan Posse
