Angry 01 T&C ABS and shakey steering lwheel

I have a 2001 Crysler town and country. The ABS light has been coming on and the it turns itself on randomly like the brakes will slip like when you slip on ice but when there is no ice. When we read the code it said it was the left wheel sensor so we went and bought a new sensor and replaced the old one this did not work the light is still on and its still having the same problem. Also the steering wheel is shaking just a little bit while driving. Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated Thanks

Welcome to the forum. Steering wheel shake can come from unbalanced wheels or loose ball joints or both. Someone knowledgeable needs to carefully inspect the front suspension and steering.
Your sensor problem could be a wiring problem or a corrosion problem. Again, a careful inspection needs to be done.
These are safety items, so don't ignore them. The car is 17 years old and these kinds of issues can be expected.
