Default Air Conditioning and radiator

OK so here is what happened, I have a '03 T&C minivan. It has a serious radiator leek, so me in my infinite wisdom loosened the compressor fittings on the compressor itself, when I did this it began hissing and spraying green fluid into a cloud.. I was unable to tighten the fittings back up without stopping the hissing. (I got the bolts tight, but still hissing) So I am assuming all the pressure is completely drained. What do I do at this point? I use this vehicle in the summer months and depend on the a/c.

I am sure there is a way to seal these back up before I recharge the system? It had great a/c before.
