Hello all! I've recently inherited my father's 1966 New Yorker 2-door hard top, and have joined here hoping to find some community and maybe a little knowledge while I bring it back to life. It has a pretty solid body with just a couple rust bubbles starting back by the fender skirts. It also sports a numbers-matching 440 that hasn't run since probably 2003, so hopefully it isn't stuck. You can see in the pictures below that I've started scrubbing the lichen and mildew off the paint, but it's pretty rough and has chipped off in a few places. The vinyl on the rear pillars was toast so I pulled it off probably 5 years ago so it wouldn't rust away underneath. I look forward to sharing progress as I get it running again!
