Hello from a UK newbie
Hi Guys
Just this week bought a 2008 2.0 litre diesel Sebring. In 2 days of ownership have covered 320 miles commuting to work. Have to say that for a 10+ year old car with 80K miles I am very impressed.
I have some minor issues if you guys could offer any words of wisdom?
1, the TMPS has a fault. keeps telling me that the FR LH Tyre is at 0.0Bar, even though it is spot on factory inflation Spec. Is there a way to De-activate the TPMS?
2, the illumination of the dials sometimes does not switch on when I turn headlights on, after Approx 5 minutes the dials become illuminated, and stay so until I switch the lights off.
3, the interior lights have had their bulbs removed, so I am thinking maybe the lights stay on and drain the battery? anyone had any experience with this?
4, the ignition Key has an intermittent fault where by removal of the key does not always apply the steering lock electronics, and the Dash tells me key inserted when it is not. I have to re insert the key and wiggle it a little, until I hear the actuator engage?
Appart from those, the car is the best £800 pounds I have spent, the spec is nice, and the seats show no sign of age, so I am very happy. I am a fan of Rock music, and lest night my 18 year old daughter asked for a Lift. she cranked the stereo ( playing Mary Jane by Black stone cherry) up to 34 and the Boston sound system was amazing. Oh and really impressed that over the 320 miles done so far the car claims I am achieving 51.7MPG as an average. is this US Gallons ?
