Just got a 2.7/2002 I see it has new chains and wp...I am attempting to put in my 2001/it goes but when fighting torque convv bolts it seems to tighten up that engine won't turn thought maybe I did valves in again but i loosened conv bolts and engine freewhwels again ..its midnite and I'm takin a break and really would like to know if I'm fighting uphill or it should work np experienced tech answers wanted

 

are you using the same flywheel as the old engine?

 

Good question... That could be the culprit of your engine swap.
