Default leaking coolent from timing chain cover 2000 Town & Country

1) 2000 TOWN AND COUNTRY drive belt keeps comes off... dealer saying it'll come off again when it rains. its the 5th time at dealer.

is it a factory defect.
HOW DO I FIX IT, since the dealer in Madera cant figure it out.

2) the dealership in Madera is saying its leaking coolent from timing chain cover. they want to replace gasket of timing chain. ?????????????

** I thought timing chain was dry & had no fluid in it.**

the only fluid i see lieaking is on the right side , right after the front wheel and door. its oily. so I dont think its any coolent.
Power steering fluid is also full.

HELP.............plz.

I had too get a two sided belt and pulley kit. I forget all the info. but my belt no longer comes off in the rain or just hitting a puddle.

I think your most serious problem is the poor level of knowledge at your dealership. Find a better mechanic.

You don't specify your engine but if that really is coolant coming out of the timing chain cover, you may need a new water pump.

You probably need a new belt tensioner as well.

For a 10 year old car, these are not unexpected.
