Another newbie here. A GM guy and former GM technician. Last night I (well the Wife and I) purchased a new 2007 Chrysler Town & Country Limited as we have one youngin (almost 10 months old) and another in the oven. So the 2005 TrailBlazer we had wasn’t cutting it for space.
I would’ve stuck to GM vans, but I just can’t buy something that isn’t as useful and something GM is leaving the market on. Her mother just bought a 2007 Toyota Sienna and were adamant on buying foreign to replace their Acura TL. So our family mini-van wars are on as I refuse to buy Jap. The only option was the best out there, the Chrysler/Dodge. Sorry Honduh and Toyota, they’re simply the better mousetrap at being a van.
What sealed the deal was the announcement of the lifetime powertrain warranty. That and the Chrysler Affiliates Rebate I got through my employer in addition to the regular rebates. It was just too good of a deal to pass up.
