No throttle response

No throttle response
I have a problem with my 2012 300 with the V6 ane 8 speed transmission. The dealer has had car 4 times for a total of 19 days and have not been able to repair it.
The problem occurs following a braking or slowing down (to 3 to 20 mph), there is no throttle response for periods of 3 to 10 seconds and then power slowly returns. The electronic throttle control (ETC) indicator light is on during the no power period. It has happened about 10 times in over 7,500 miles.
Appreciate any response from any one with same problem or with advice.

Well if the ETC indicator light is on during that period and it makes complete sense that it does, it must be a problem with the Electronic Throttle Control system. If the car is still under warranty, I would take it to a Chrysler specific mechanic or the dealership you bought it from if you haven't already done so. Have you tried hooking up a scanner and seeing if that tells you anything specific?

Electronic throttle control??? yea right. etc is electronic traction control. if this light is on it wont let you have much throttle because it thinks your drive wheel is slipping. if this is not the case then the computer that is responsible for this is going bad or the wheel sensor.
