Default Pacifica 2017 Brakes go to foor

My brakes go to the floor and there is a significant hissing sounds that comes from inside and under the hood. The problem is intermittent and happens when I first start the van. After driving for several minutes the pedal gets firm again. My dealer says there is nothing wrong because everytime I bring it in the pedal is fairly firm. Even after I showed a video of it to them they said unless they can replicate the problem there is nothing wrong. They contacted the Chrylser regional rep and were told they have no issue with Pacifica's having this problem so it is not a problem. What!. So Chrysler feels that brakes going to the floor intermittently is okay. At least I have a record so if an accident occurs I can go after Chrysler and my dealer. I have had several Chrysler cars. This may be my last and the last time I use the dealer for service. Next stop is Facebook with a video of the issue.

Try replacing the check valve to the brake booster. I had a similar problem with my Mercury Mariner. It was an inexpensive, 10-minute DIY solution to the problem.
And they didn't say "unless they can replicate the problem there is nothing wrong." What they said was if they can't replicate the problem, they can't fix it. That's different.

Default It was the ABS Unit

The dealer tried multiple options. It ended up being the ABS unit. No problems since they replaced it.
