Default Rear window defroster not working

I have a 2010 Sebring convertible. So far I have confirmed all fuses work. Power is live at the rear window defroster button, there is continuity at the grid, but there is not power to the grid.

Is there another connection between the rear window and the switch that could interrupt the current to the window grid?

The wires from the defroster itself run along the left side and under the left trunk panel. There is most likely a connector in this harness that can be used to ohm out the backglass defroster itself. It is very likely there is a dtc (diagnostic trouble code) stored in the of the control modules that would assist in trouible-shooting.
