Tight handbrake
Hi I am new here and was after some advice. I have recently bought a 2002 Chrysler Grand Voyager and with the handbrake feels very tight and I’m unsure as it clicks about 4 maybe 5 clicks however it’s very hard to get to there and sometimes the car rolls and have to pull a little more is there a way I can maybe loosen the tension if so how??

What rear brake type do you have Disc or drum? 4 to 5 clicks of the parking brake is about right. Hard movement may be rusting/binding brake cables(just did them on my 04 T&C rear disc) Also the rear shoes(drum brakes) can be manually adjusted by turning the star wheel from thru the backing plate. Rear disc is similar as the parking brake shoes are inside the rotor hat.
