I am looking at a Pacifica for my daughter and her 4 kids. They have out grown their Park Avenue. I am a mechanic so the fact that most of the cheap Pacificas have bad engines. Do most fail due to lack of oil changes? There are a lot of 3.5s out there still running fine. Does anyone know if the inline 3.5s fit the transverse cars? There are a lot more inline cars out there for donor parts. Looks like 98+ are the all aluminum ones, EGG code was used in both setups according to this site.

 

Looks like I answered my own question. 04 stands alone 05 and 6 share engines only fit Pacificas.
