Will ECU ordered fit and fix
Hello Pals., thanks for all your replies.
I have ordered a ECU for the vehicle (voyager 2004) to fix engine miss on one cylinder. This was diagnosed by Chrysler trained mechanic. The ecu I ordered is from a Dodge grand caravan and has been programmed with my vehicle's vin. I am awaiting the ECU. I also have brake issues, soft pedal, drops away with engine running. Have had a previous dealer report through the previous owner saying Master Cylinder should be changed and then possible ABS should be changed. Considering all of the above:-
1. will Dodge ecu fit Chrysler Grand Voyager o.k. (same shape)
2. Will fitting the ECU possibly fix brakes issue.
3. Also Fans behind radiator not working, will fitting ECU fix this issue as well?
Reading posts, it appears Master Cylinder may need replacing.
Cheers,
Thanks for reading.

Just an update on this. The ECU programmed off my VIN worked perfectly. Cured the miss, however my fuel consumption is quite high. I get 5km out of one litre of petrol. This is all around town km's . Does the engine need to be tuned to the imported ECU?

With the engine running you can press the brake right to the floor. If it happens when the engine is not running, that's a problem. Do the brakes stop the car properly? If so, you haven't described a problem yet.
