Default melting rear view mirror

I have a 97 Sebring LXi.
The tint on my rear view mirror has been disappearing from the top down. It's almost gone and some caustic oil leaked from it, melting a spot below.
I've tried to find a replacement but have had no luck. Any ideas?

Default RE: melting rear view mirror

Have you tried your local scrap yards? I'd bet there are lots of "compatible" models (using the same mirror). I'm sure some of the "techies" on this forum would know which models and years use the same fixtures.

Off hand, I'd bet the Cirrus and Dodge Stratus are the same (but I'm only guessing). If you don't get an answer from someone more knowledgeable than I (If no moderators/techies] reply) you might want to try your post in https://www.chryslerforum.com/forumid_11/tt.htm - the "Sebring" forum page. Good luck, Offon.
