Hey guys... figured I would stop in and see how my homeboys.. and girl trixie if she's even around anymore... are holding up. We got the sebring back in our posession, but it has a few minor problems... like we blew the engine up driving it home from OK. Then we had to tow it with our montero, because my dad is too cheap to spring for a hitch for any of the other cars... I emailed HKS for a custom valve and cam set up for the 2.5 liter motor. A package of new pulleys, sprockets, cams, valves, springs, and retainers, mostly made of titanium is going to run about $2k and daddy is okay with that. whatev... I sold the truck since it was payed off, and I am about to leave to go pick my Brand New 06 Suzuki GSX-R 750.... I love that bike! I'll put some pictures up or something when I get back today, maybe tomorrow.... How has everybody been? I missed you guys...

 

That's great that you're back and I'm glad you got rid of that sucky Montero. Was your sister upset that the Sebring was taken away?

 

ha... no, she never saw that car anyway... her husband's dad thinks he's some kind of master mechanic or something.... this is a quote from him to me "Well hell, I didn't even check to see if the radiator had fluid in it, I figured the overflow was full, that would be good enough".... I responded with" Well hell, who would think to check the whole cooling system right?"
I'm diggin this whole sport bike thing... I'm going sometime this week to pick up a new ninja zx-6r... sweet! lol... that makes 2 bikes for derek!

 

My buddies down in San Carlos, Florida are sport bike guys... Don't get too cocky, too fast on those... One of them is new to it and already ate it 3 times. This last time, he had serious road rash... Welcome back...

 

oh yeah, I drive responsibly... It's fun to drive fast and do the occaisional weaving through traffic because you can, but I think I'm a good enough rider to only do it when necessary, and do it properly... I don't ride the hell out of my bikes, but I do have fun with them... Never laid one down though...

yeah, stupid squids... there are some guys out here that ride with just there shorts on and stuff like that... but they wear a helmet too, and you got to wonder what good that helmet is going to do them if the only other padding they have is their swim suit and flip-flops... Maybe open-casket wouldn't be too far out of the question then? They're very dangerous.. especially in Austin... people just don't watch, and on several occaisions now I've had to swerve to the shoulders, and different lanes to keep from being hit... I wear a full Joe Rocket setup when I ride, as well as a helmet, so I may not survive being run over.. but no rash...
Speaking of... I raced a new shelby mustang cobra whatever... we have them custom made for our dealerships out here, and very few of them sell but they are really fast for a 'stang... He didn't stand a chance...

I reccomend bikes... they're amazing... when my bike was stock, I beat a ferrari 360 modena with my girlfriend on the back.. it was funny too, I was talking to him at the light and I was like, no I don't wanna do anything dangerous with my girl on the back, and she was like,.. no no no no no, take me for a ride lol... I could only top at about 155 though, so I beat him up to speed, the drag was just too much for my little engine that could...

 

I think bikes are cool, but I'm scared of them...

There are no that many cars that stand a chance against most bikes...
