Default update

Hey guys... missed ya'll... We finally got the new motor back into the sebring... The hot wire for the starter if broken somewhere, so my dad thinks... I think the solenoid is busted.. we'll see... Everything is in good shape though, so we hope to have her running by tonight... It's taken forever to get this far... I don't reccomend an engine swap for anyone with a sebring... to pull it up and replace the tranny is not so bad, but to swap it out... f*ck that... The bike shop says the ninja parts came in so I should be able to come pick it up in about a week, then I can drop of the gixxer for it's stuff... this whole bike thing is wierd.... anywho...

how is everybody? Even the people I don't know... what's up?

Engine swap on a Sebring? I would have suspected the tranny over anything

well, it has a new tranny, we're actually on number 3... this is the first engine though... Blew up at about 130k miles... so we found another one with 45k miles on it, and put all new internals in it... new cam, valves, valve springs, etc. Then we bought new belts all around for it. We even got some hi-tech racing timing belt... I don't understand the differemce...

So, I guess we're going to be delayed on the car project for a while... We tried to crank the motor and the damn thing won't move. We can't even rock the crank by hand... Concerned that maybe the fly-wheel and torque converter are maybe binding up somehow... We used the old flywheel from the old motor because the new one was different, but I don't know... I'm having my mechanic come and look at it... the engine was fine, and the transmission was fine before they went in...
