2000 Chrysler Concorde issue
Concorde runs great, but when slowing down to speeds below 20 mph it has a slight hesitation that seems to come from the tranny. When coming to a full stop it feels as though the torque converter is not slowing down fast enough, and when reaching a full stop a slight bump is felt on occasion, not at every stop. The only error codes are battery disconnected recently and 0700 (error code stored in TCM). The 2 shift sensors were recently replaced; the car was in limp mode prior to replacement. After replacing car ran great again, then the engine light came on approximately 10,000 miles after sensor replacement. The battery unfortunately went dead, and I was unable to retrieve an error code. Any help would be appreciated.

That 0700 code indicates that there will be more code(s) in the computer related to the transmission. You'll need a very sophisticated code reader to retrieve them. The usual parts store code reader won't be able to dig that deep.
Getting the codes has to be the first step in figuring out what is wrong. Anything else is just guesswork.

Chrysler Codes for 3.2 2000 Concorde LXi
Received codes P1775 and P1784, solenoid and l/r pressure switch. Local shop says take to a Chrysler dealer, but estimated the cost to be $2500-$3000. Car is in mint condition, engine has 140k gentle miles, uses no oil and purrs like a kitten. This seems like a high estimate to me, but I'm no expert. I'd rather fix it instead of buying another car ( the devil you know is always better than the devil you don't! ). Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Have seen a few of these issues. Usually does NOT require a major trans rebuild. Replacing the solenoid pack usually cures the problem
Less than a $500 DIY if you are even a little bit handy. Example of info available:
