Keys limited on 2014 300C?
Just traded in the 2010 300C for the 2014 version. On the 2010, I added two keys so I had a total of 4, one for each of our 3 drivers and a home spare.
The dealer tells me the 2014 is limited to 2 keys, and the manual doesn't say. This doesn't sound right - surely I'm not the only person on the planet with multiple drivers in the family.
What does look new in the manual is that "old" keys, like from another Mopar vehicle with the same FCC code can't be used. This key is the same for the 2011 - 2014 model years, and they are routinely sold by 3rd party suppliers for like $50. but the manual says once paired, this version can't be re-paired to another vehicle.
Tried calling Chrysler Customer Care, and got nothing except "sorry, I don't know."
Well, having started with a 1950 New Yorker with a flat head straight 8, and many, many Mopars since, I'm now getting really put off by them.
