Default 1994 LHS

Just a couple of quick questions. First, what is the 'eye'type sensor on the review mirror, facing the windshield, for? Secondly, there is a sticker under the hood that says my car is equipped with A DEI remote start system. Was this stock? If so, where can I get a remote. I don't even have the remote to lock the doors/set alarm. In advance, thanks for any info.

Default RE: 1994 LHS

Well, I have foundthe answers to both of my questions.

First, the 'eye' type sensor that faces the windshieldon the rear view mirror senses glare from rear approaching cars, helping the Electrochromic mirror do it's job.

Second, the 1994 LHS didn't come stock with a DEI remote start system.
