When I come to a stop I have basically stand on the brake cause its want to take off. When I left my foot off the gas I can get up to about 20 mph without hitting the gas

Check throttle cable/cruise cable at rear of engine. Trans R&I may have pinched one or both. Make sure the throttle is closed and the IAC is connected and working.
