94 Concord Transmission Sensor
I have put so much money into this car and it's just one thing after the other. Don't get me wrong - I love this car. It is by far the most comfortalbe car I have ever owned.
ISSUE: After driving for about 30 min the car acts like it's stuck in 2nd gear. Mechanic told me it will cost me $1K to replace sensor.
HELP! I just don't have anymore money to put into this car. I don't want to junk it. Any suggestions?

Sounds like it's driveable. Drive it to a different mechanic. A thousand bucks for a sensor sounds like a ripoff.
For a thousand bucks you can probably buy another '94 Concorde and drive it 'til it dies.
