I bought a Red 99 concorde a couple of months ago for my daughter. We new the engine needed work because we could here the lifters rattling. replaced the lifters. Then we drained th 20-50w oil from the engine, then we heard the rod Knock...Removed the engine rebuilt it from the bottom up...Ie crankshaft,bearings, oil pump, rods, rings....reinstalled the engine.
Now here is were the real problems started: It tried to fireup, but the battery went dead. Charged the bat. reconected the battery, and the alarm set, and now no spark. The only code that shows up is p1684, and i do have 5vdc at the map sensor conection, then the rain came.
I'm about to name this car CHRISTINE...I think it is in shutdown, how can i tell for sure.

use the remote to unlock the car or lock then unlock it in each of the key holes on the doors.

 

That is another problem no remote.I tired locking and unlocking the doors and trunk. still does not run.

 

I hope to test out all the rest, Ie Coils, crank/ cam pos sensors this weekend. Providing it does not rain. Thanks to all for any and all advise...And if any of you Chrysler techs dealerships are closing. I you all the best of luck. Thanks again.
